Role Overview:

The role of a Vendor Management Specialist involves negotiating, procuring, and managing contracts with IT vendors.


The main objective of this position is to develop productive relationships with technology vendors and optimize IT procurement processes to enhance the overall operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the organization.


The Vendor Management Specialist acts as a liaison between the organization and technology vendors to ensure contracts are executed efficiently.


Through effective management of vendor relationships, this specialist contributes to the organization’s profitability by minimizing costs and identifying new opportunities for strategic partnerships.


Are you someone who can:

  • Promote teamwork amongst peers and team members
  • Manage service level agreements and operational reports
  • Ensure continuous process improvement to enable effective operational processes
  • Build and manage relationships with suppliers and relevant stakeholders
  • Control and report on Service Level Agreements

You will be an ideal candidate if you:

  • Have a Degree, Diploma or Equivalent Qualification in Information Technology with relevant specialisation in IT Service Delivery, Business Management or Supply Chain Management.
  • Have a minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience specializing in IT vendor management and/or contract management.
