1. Main Functions

The Commercial Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the growth and profitability of Pupkewitz Catering Supplies by effectively managing inventory, optimizing pricing, and strategically sourcing products. This role also encompasses marketing initiatives, sales support, and maintaining exceptional customer service to stay competitive in the catering supplies industry. Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic inventory management to meet customer demand while minimizing waste and losses.
  • Pricing strategy development and merchandising to optimize revenue.
  • Product sourcing and import coordination to ensure high-quality and diverse offerings.
  • Marketing execution to promote products and services while supporting sales growth.

 

2. Key Performance Areas

Inventory Management:

  • Forecast future demand and optimize inventory levels.
  • Minimize waste through efficient stock rotation and management techniques.
  • Resolve supply chain issues and ensure accurate stock reconciliation.

Pricing and Merchandising:

  • Proven experience in inventory management and supply chain operations.
  • A background in the catering supplies industry is advantageous.
  • Marketing and sales expertise, with a track record of executing successful campaigns.
  • Experience in import processes, including customs clearance and compliance.
