Duty Description

  • Supervise the capturing of data from paper questionnaires to an electronic system (database)
  • Supervise the review and cleaning of errors from electronic datasets
  • Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost
  • Run basic frequencies and produce tables
  • Do basic analysis of tables
  • Supervise Data Clerks during census data processing
  • Monitor performance of Data Clerks to ensure timely completion of activities assigned

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 with at least 20 points in 6 subjects and a E symbol in English
  • Minimum 2 years proven experience as a data clerk of which 1 year should be in a supervisory role

    • Voter’s card (with constituency specified),OR
    • Municipal bill not older then 2 months (with a certified copy of ID and a verification letter from the person listed on the municipal bill)
