Purpose:

To manage, oversee and implement the financial function in area of responsibility through the provision of detailed financial analysis and insight and value-added reporting to aide decision making and strategic planning for the Segment

Responsibilities:

• Provide input into the budget and manage and report on budget usage that reflects delivery of planned work within agreed parameters
• Provide and submit correct financial reporting
• Provide financial analytics and insights to the Business to make informed decisions
• Implement business performance and risk management frameworks and relevant risk methodologies to reduce operational losses
• Ensure optimal allocation of financial resources in order to maximise shareholders return
• Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships across area of specialisation
• Manage team performance in achievement of business objectives
• Ensure development and continuous value add improvement to operational processes
• Manages risks in own area of responsibility
• Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and inn
• Creates solutions to meet customer demands to deliver internal and external customer service excellence through adherence to quality service standards
• Control expenditure and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs

Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum Qualification – Qualified Charted Accountant
• Experience – 3 to 5 years experience inclusive of completed articles, ideally within the financial services industry
