Golden Ambassador – Pick n Pay Namibia

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

To impacting people’s lives by creating a unique, enjoyable, and inspiring shopping experience. This role focuses on enhancing the shopping experience, promoting customer loyalty, and ensuring that the store’s values and quality standards are communicated effectively to customers.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Customer Engagement: Actively engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences. Promote loyalty programs, special promotions, and store events to enhance customer involvement.
  • Exceptional Service Delivery: Ensure that all customers receive outstanding service throughout their shopping experience. Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively. Train and mentor staff on customer service best practices and the importance of creating a positive shopping environment.
  • Brand Representation: Serve as a spokesperson for the store, embodying its values and mission. Ensure that the store’s image and branding are consistently represented. Ensure that the standards and presentation for a world-class product are lived through each touchpoint.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth understanding of the store’s products and services to assist customers accurately.
  • Sales Support: Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking to ensure product availability.
  • Feedback and Reporting: Collect customer feedback and insights to identify trends and areas for improvement. Assist in developing strategies to enhance the shopping experience based on customer input.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to create a cohesive and supportive work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:

  • Minimum qualification: Grade 12 plus a National Diploma in Business Administration or Marketing (NQF Level 6).
  • Experience: 3 to 6 years of relevant work experience.
  • Supervisory experience in retail management or customer service roles is essential.
