Job Description:
TTo serve as the custodian of the investment process within the business and be accountable for the investment philosophy, investment and client governance processes, and investment performance.
To provide expertise, advice and support for funds and shares business in developing the wealth management and investment strategy to enable tactical translation and operational implementation of the process to improve the performance of investments.

- Develop a comprehensive retail cash investments (Liabilities) strategy aligned to strategic growth objectives
- Achieve market share and revenue targets by growing retail investment products through the analysis of market trends, economic factors, and customer needs
- Create and refine solutions to better meet customer needs and demands
- Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration, and innovation
- Deliver internal and external customer service excellence through adherence to quality service standards and impactful communication and stakeholder relationships
- Develope, impliment and monitor the performance of the strategy against set performance targets
You will be an ideal candidate if you:
- A relevant Post Graduate Degree – A financial qualification is ideal (Postgraduate/MBA)
- A CFA/CA qualification will be advantageous
- 10 years’ experience in overseeing retail banking investment products, of which 5 years should be in Senior Managment
- Experience in driving growth of customer investment portfolios while ensuring effective risk management and regulatory compliance
- Strong understanding of the Namibian financial market, investment regulations, and industry trends.
- People and Leadership skills with a high level of integrity and a customer-centric mindset.
