Cash Book Clerk

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Administer all cashbook duties effectively and timeously in line with standard operating procedures in order to establish that the company’s records are a true reflection of the company’s financial standing.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Grade 12 Certificate with Accounting as a subject and atleast 2 years relevant finance experience.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Prepare all bank statements daily on excel for import to SAP system.
• Allocate all debit and credit entries to the correct accounts and post to the relevant General Ledger accounts. (E.g. Bank Windhoek, FNB, Nedbank)
• Responsible for commission reports from PnP SA
• Follow up and resolve all queries with the respective financial institutions, branches and Support Office function.
• Responsible for clearing of all relevant general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and post salary journals.
• Perform month-end closing procedures timeously.
• Prepare monthly reports for controls day as per planning deadlines.
• Prepare all bank statements daily on excel for import to SAP NBL system.
