PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
To provide 2nd line electrical maintenance support to the line in the event of equipment failures, to execute planned, corrective, break-in work, condition based and preventative maintenance, as well as performing a structured approach in fault-finding and break down analysis on failed equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:
- N3 Industrial Instrumentation/Electronics/Electrical (Trade Test Certificate) with a minimum of 3 years industrial electrical experience (FMCG experience will be an added advantage)
- Experience in Siemens S7 and TIA fault finding, reading electrical and basic mechanical drawings, process engineering, frequency drives, servo motors and induction motors
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Prepared and execute planned maintenance activities
- Provided 2nd line electrical breakdown support to the packaging lines
- Maintain health and safety standards
- Complete documentation/work orders and do proper record keeping of all improvements and modifications made on equipment
- Coach and train operators
- Implement 5S in area of responsibility
