Job Description Responsible for supervising subordinates, managing administrative tasks for the Water Metering Subsection and Unit Rate Contractor, overseeing stakeholders engagement, implementing new technology, and ensuring accurate water meter information recording in the Municipal Billing System. Managing maintenance and preventative measures for municipal water meter systems.
Key Performance Areas
  • Supervise the work/job activities of the subordinates.
  • Administrative duties of the Water Metering Sub Section and Unit Rate Contractor.
  • Manage Metering stakeholders and new technologies.
  • Co-ordinate the maintenance and preventative maintenance of municipal water meter systems.
  • Ensure correct water meter information recorded on Municipal Billing System.
Skills, Experience & Education REQUIREMENTS: National Diploma in Engineering with specialisation in Civil Engineering (Water) with three (3) years job related experience, Registration with the Engineering Council of Namibia as a Technician and a code B/BE driving license.
