POSITION: ENTERPRISE RISK MANAGEMENT (ERM) SPECIALIST
DEPARTMENT: RISK MANAGEMENT
LOCATION: PORT OF WALVIS BAY
JOB GRADE: 7
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To facilitate implementation, monitoring, and reporting of Namport’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), and compliance regulation framework, in compliance to relevant regulations and legal guidelines.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
• Assist with the compilation and management of divisional OPEX and CAPEX budget.
• Develops, maintains and coordinates corporate Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) strategies.
• Conducts risk planning and assessments.
• Evaluates and monitors operational risk.
• Conducts ERM training and awareness sessions.
• Ensures ERM service quality improvement and operational exellence.
• Ensures compliance to all ERM standards, policies and principles.
• Coordinates and develops sound stakeholder relationship.
• Cultivates and sustains sound customer experience.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
• A Bachelor’s Honours degree or equivalent qualification with specialisation in Risk or Compliance Management.
• A minimum of five (5) years relevant professional experience in the field of Risk Management preferably in a corporate environment of which three (3) years should have been in a supervisory or management capacity.
• Added advantage: Active membership to the Institute of Risk Management (IRMSA).
• Code BE driver’s license.
• Thorough understanding of ISO 31000 and COSO Framework.
• Skilled in analysis and review of reports and making presentations to Senior Management.
• Be empathic, enthusiastic and passionate about working in ERM culture.
• Must be driven and possesses a strong technical know-how.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to details and deadlines.
• Relationship building, logically thinking and computer literacy.
• Strong leadership, decision making, teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Must be a Namibian Citizen.
