PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

To perform the overall operations within the department by implementing the required standards and provide excellent customer service for the profitability of the Deli.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:

• A Grade 12 Certificate.
• 2 years Sales/Waiter experience preferably in a Hospitality environment.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Render a speedy and effective service to customers as required by operations.
• Gain continuous knowledge of products.
• Assist customers with enquiries and queries on stock and application/use of products and prices.
• Give customers promotional posters and inform them about promotion.
• Maintain cleanliness of products display.
• Keep the storerooms and cold-rooms in an orderly manner on a daily basis.
• Maintain the QDVP4 standards and bulk displays.
• Packing and Slicing products to customers request/needs.
• Place correct price stickers on products as per set standards.
• Check the price change register to confirm whether prices have not changed.
• Update price stickers when the prices are changed.
• Assist with the preparation and timeous presentation all specialities and display in an attractive manner.
• Assist in movement of stock items during stock taking and assist in counting of stock.
