Job Description To manage the Section of the Emergency and Disaster Risk Management Division within the City of Windhoek in order to provide a high-quality image and service to the public and other stakeholders, thereby improving the quality of life of all residents.
Key Performance Areas
  • Managing an Directing the work/job activities of the staff members in the Section.
  • Develop, implement and manage projects.
  • Draft and Manage sectional budget.
  • Manage, evaluate and Recommend Tenders and contracts.
  • Command major emergency incidents and conduct investigation.
  • Networking with relevant stakeholders.
  • Management of Assets.
Skills, Experience & Education Becher’s Degree or Advance Diploma in Fire Technology or Fire Engineering Science or Disaster Management or Business Administration or Pre-hospital Emergency Medical Care. A minimum period of ten(10) years experience in the fire and Emergency management field of which one (1)  was served at least as a Station Officer rank or above. Code B Driver’s license.
General Salary: N$542,256.00  p.a,

Housing Allowance: N$216,900.00 p.a

Car Allowance – N$214,752.00 p.a
