VACANCY – Switchboard Operator
Division: Marketing & Corporate Communications (x1)
Department: Marketing, Business Development and Communications
Primary purpose of position
To receive and respond to all company incoming and outgoing calls, queries and telephone records management.
• Incoming & outgoing calls.
• Faulty telephone lines and internal exchange problems.
• Creation of new extension numbers.
• Monthly reporting/print-outs to different Departments/Business Units.
Educational and experience requirements
Three (3) years’ Switchboard Operator experience.
Skills and Knowledge requirements
• Organisational Skills.
• Communication (oral and written) Skills.
• Interpersonal Skills.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Computer Literate.
• Customer orientated,
• Good Listener,
• Good communicator.
