Responsibilities:
- Implementing all through-the-line marketing activities;
- Implementing marketing plans for selected market segments;
- Managing and updating various databases;
- Supporting the leads management process;
- Managing office admin and budget;
- Constructing marketing messages directed at appropriate markets;
- Identifying new business sales opportunities and building it into marketing messages;
- Monitoring the marketing environment and competitor activities;
- Conducting marketing presentations;
- Developing and understanding the market utilizing research data & any other data sources available;
- Being responsible for the conceptualization and execution of marketing events; and
- Identifying, building relationships and interfacing with internal and external resources.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Namibian citizenship;
- Marketing/relevant Business degree;
- Broad understanding of the insurance and financial services industries;
- Understanding of Old Mutual’s product range;
- An understanding of the sales environment, factors that drive sales and impact on sales;
- A minimum of at least 5 years relevant marketing experience in financial services marketing and/or product marketing;
- Able to integrate various components, sets of information in a systemic manner;
- Able to work to tight deadlines, utilization of numeric and creative abilities;
- Advanced skills in PowerPoint and a very good working knowledge of the other MS Office suite packages, with emphasis on Excel;
- Able to facilitate & drive execution of assignments / projects;
- Able to work under pressure & meet deadlines without losing attention to detail and be available for after hours work;
- In possession of valid driver’s license with own transport, prepared & able to travel nationally;
- Highly energetic with drive, proactive, positive thinking and enthusiastic; and
- Strong conceptual thinker.
