PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
To oversee the retail shop and generate sales by assisting guests in purchasing merchandise, and recommending all products that will yield financial profitability and deliver excellent guest service.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES
- Grade 12
- 2 years experience in a  retail shop or Hospitality industry
- knowledge of merchandise, styling, pricing and Inventory Management will be an added advantage
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Assist customers in selecting merchandise, suggesting additional items and upselling products.
- Process sales transactions, cashiering, billings and issuing receipts and changes in an efficient and timely manner while maintaining a high level of uest Service.
- Compile a daily sales report on target vs profit generated and submit it to Cost Controller.
- Assist in conducting inventory and ensuring adequate merchandise supply levels.
- Maintain the stock control, order request and par levels with a day-end report.
- Practice FIFO (First in First out).
- Recommend sales ideas for slow-moving products and merchandise that are close to expiring.
