Job Description
To support the Chief Executive Officer by creating focus on ensuring that the businesses priorities are effectively coordinated and tracked across the segment, successfully communicated across and aligned to the FirstRand Group and Ensure internal coherence in strategic initiatives, making sure they are better aligned and coordinated across the segment and Exco’s; intragroup positioning which involves communicating segment vision and priorities effectively, with a clear articulation of the value accretion to group.

Are you someone who can:
- Support the Chief Executive Officer by creating focus on ensuring that the businesses priorities are effectively coordinated and tracked across the segment, successfully communicated across and aligned to the FirstRand Group and Ensure internal coherence in strategic initiatives, making sure they are better aligned and coordinated across the segment and Exco’s; intragroup positioning which involves communicating segment vision and priorities effectively, with a clear articulation of the value accretion to group.
- Identify synergies across the business and enablement pillars (ecosystems) Integrate information-share across business pillars, work across business units to distil and articulate business transformation objectives and communicate RMB Namibia/C&I contribution to the group vision.
- Catalyze teams and stakeholders by ensuring the development and implementation of the business transformation plan and creation of an inclusive culture for employees and drive strategic relationships with relevant peers to enable optimization of the business value chain
- Monitor progress via defined success metrics using insights and knowledge gained from high level reports to influence direction of the business to ensure organization performance against long-term strategy and make necessary adjustments, Support the development of long-term organizational strategy by conducting abstract, conceptual, and comparative analysis of high-level reports for strategic decision-making purposes.
- Conduct research and analyze operational effectiveness, processes, stakeholders and assess market trends and competitors to identify threats and opportunities which can be presented in the format of findings, projections, and recommended actions., Plan, implement and manage proposed recommendations related to strategic initiatives/deliverables/ projects and monitor reporting on strategic initiatives/projects
You will be an ideal candidate if you:
- Are a holder of a Post Graduate Degree in Finance, Commerce or relevant qualification
- Have Minimum 5 – 7-years work experience including project management and strategy execution
- Experience of relevant frameworks or methodologies for working with complexity, change, organizational and personal resilience in strategic decision-making will be advantegous
- Are comfortable with working with senior management
- Are able to strategize at both a macro and micro level
- Demonstrate independent, strategic thinking
- Have a deep understanding of strategy implementation
- Have positive energy, are passion and innovative
- Have passion for people and are comfortable with a diverse culture
- Are a highly effective communicator that is able to simplify complexities
