The role
Accounts for all materials and supplies in the store’s facilities; audits goods received into warehouse.
Main Responsibilities
- Oversees receipt, storage and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established Procedures.
- Prepares and coordinates schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and Regulate warehouse space.
- Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of Facilities and equipment.
- Develop the warehouse processes and improve team performance using Lean methodology.
Your profile
- Namibian Citizen
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Computer literacy
- Certificate in Supply Chain Management or Logistics or a related field or equivalent. (Advantageous)
- Experience in warehousing and inventory control in a mining environment.
- Valid driver’s license – EC1 (Code 10)
- Valid Forklift License
