Accounts for all materials and supplies in the store’s facilities; audits goods received into warehouse.

Main Responsibilities

  • Oversees receipt, storage and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established Procedures.
  • Prepares and coordinates schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and Regulate warehouse space.
  • Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of Facilities and equipment.
  • Develop the warehouse processes and improve team performance using Lean methodology.

Your profile

  • Namibian Citizen
  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans
  • Computer literacy
  • Certificate in Supply Chain Management or Logistics or a related field or equivalent. (Advantageous)
  • Experience in warehousing and inventory control in a mining environment.
  • Valid driver’s license – EC1 (Code 10)
  • Valid Forklift License

Other information: This is a 4-months temporary position
